Okay, caught with (illicit) stacks of cash, machine guns, and God only knows what else, yes, she’s a criminal. A bad actor. And apparently the law provides for sentencing offenders in a Jane Doe context, whether they cough up their real identity or not.
She does sort of look like…anyone’s grandmother, as they say. The news says she’s sixty-three. But stop, think a minute. If the authorities have no real handle on this…lady…they have no idea how old she is. How could they possibly know? And if they have a legit birth certificate for her, she’s not a mystery woman anymore.
You can’t have it both ways.
And what was she doing on “furlough,” expected to return to Federal custody on the honor system, when she went missing in July of 2017? Does this woman’s profile suggest a sense of “honor” to you?
There’s the mystery of how authorities let her slip away in the first place.
And the greater mystery, just who the Devil (we mean that almost literally) is she, and how deep do her criminal connections go?
